As part of our 50th anniversary celebration and remodeling, we built a remembrance garden behind Thompson Funeral Chapel.

As a family-oriented team, we feel it’s important to have a place to go when you want to remember a loved one. We work with many families who have a burial place many miles from here or have chosen to scatter cremated remains elsewhere. Whatever the situation, they now have a place close by where they can visit and remember their loved ones.

We have partnered with a local quarry to offer an exclusive version of Arizona sandstone that can be sandblasted and etched. With their help, families can create meaningful, unique markers with words, scriptures, pictures, and more.

Thompson Funeral Chapel serves as a 4,500 square foot all-inclusive facility that features comfortable arrangement centers, private visitation rooms, a state-of-the-art care center facility and a spacious funeral chapel. This old yet modern facility seamlessly harmonizes elegance with comfort as it features a blend of heirloom and contemporary furniture to offer guests an inviting and cozy atmosphere. Thompson Funeral Chapel is located near the heart of Historic Goodyear on South Litchfield Road, with the building itself celebrating over 55 years as a funeral home.
